Pasta and shrimp

Every Saturday we publish on our website www.primorski.eu the recipe of our former colleague Evan Fischer. This is not a novelty, but an electronic reprint of the Cooking Corner, published by Primorsky Dnevnik from late spring 2007 to autumn 2011. Both the originality of the recipes and the ideas accompanying their publication perfectly preserve their relevance and message, and online publication at the same time allows their quick transfer to the electronic or paper archive of cooking household.

Pasta and shrimp

For some time I have not dealt with pasta with seafood or. In this case with shrimp (prawns). I include shrimp, and we can also make pasta with the same procedure, be it pasta, wide noodles or foie, even with shrimp. Either way, the pasta will be delicious. The process is exactly the same, so this time I’m going to introduce three different shrimp pasta recipes.

1. We will prepare first Estre Foy with Shrimp.

we need:

500 grams of fuži (obtained in almost all markets, in Slovenia as “garganelli”, or in Slovenia as “drill” or for short “fuži”, as Sister Felicita calls it in a modern Slovenian cookbook),

4 garlic cloves,

1 deciliter of dry white wine,

Half a can of peeled tomatoes,

500 g of cleaned shrimp,

parsley,

olive oil,

Sol,

white pepper

So we clean the shrimp and remove the gut from the back. Fry the chopped garlic in olive oil, add the peeled tomatoes and simmer for ten minutes. Then add the shrimp and leave it on a low heat. If necessary, add salt and finally chopped parsley.

Meanwhile, we cooked the foie, which we drained in the sauce, mixed and served.

2. Now it’s their turn Spaghetti with shrimp and arugula.

we need:

500 grams of spaghetti

500 grams of peeled shrimp,

3 garlic cloves,

Half a can of peeled tomatoes or 3 ripe tomatoes,

one lemon

Hot peppers, a big handful of rockets,

olive oil,

Sol,

pepper

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the minced garlic and hot pepper. When the garlic smells good, add the tomatoes and cook until most of the water has evaporated. Add the grated lemon peel, followed by the prawns.

Cook for 4-5 minutes, depending on the size. Add more lemon juice.

Cook the pasta and mix it with the sauce. Then pour the chopped arugula and a little freshly ground pepper.

3. Finally, a recipe for Spaghetti with shrimp and zucchini.

we need:

500 grams of spaghetti

400 g of zucchini (better if it is young and also has a flower),

4 garlic cloves,

1 deciliter of dry white wine,

half a lemon

Chili pepper,

olive oil,

basilicas store,

Sol,

pepper

As usual, fry chopped garlic in oil until you smell it, add sliced ​​u200bu200bzucchini, hot pepper, a slice of lemon, salt and fry until golden yellow. We add peeled shrimp and if we have torn zucchini blossoms. Sprinkle with wine and sprinkle with grated lemon peel. Allow the wine to evaporate and add the grated basil directly to the cottage. Meanwhile, we cooked the spaghetti and poured a few tablespoons of water as we cooked it in a pot of shrimp and zucchini. Shake the cooked spaghetti over the shrimp, zucchini and pepper, mix well and serve.
